Our dog’s are also known as Medical Canines, which we divide into the following categories in this field.
Medical canines as per the published studies in various journals have been consistently accurate in both sensitivity and specificity at detecting prostate, breast, ovarian, colorectal, melanoma, lung and many other types of cancer.
Dog’s nose is the best bio-sensor we know in the researches over the years have indicated that dogs are capable of detecting tiny traces [one part per trillion] which is equivalent of one teaspoon of sugar in two Olympic sized swimming pools of odor created by different diseases.
- Canines are 99% accurate at the early detection of lung cancer, 88% accurate at early detection of breast cancer.(almost no false positives)
- Canines have snown high sensitivity (97%) and secifificy (99%) for detecting uiable cancer cells or molecular cancer marrers in patients plasma.
- Canine can scent detection indentifies lung cancer with specificity of 93% and sensitivity of 71% numbers unheard of in medicines.
- Our canine scent sensitivity for colorectal cancer was 97% and the specifically was 99% the accuracy of canine scent detection is high even for early cancer.
